I used to take photos of the ordinary
Put my life equations together, thats a binary
But there was so much drought, people feeding from hand to mouth
Thought I could be a voice, probably talk with a long pout
Take one story after the other, make it into a chapter
Sculpt the memories, I’ll be needing a reminder
The world is moving so fast, I’m holding on for dear life
I’ll be needing a prayer and also take sometime to fast forward to the better times
Talk about the negatives, you’d be surprised how we made it through the primitive ways
Optimist at heart,
Pessimist in reality, what a twisted fact
It all boils down to the steps we take when no one is watching
Sacrifices we make behind closed doors, dripping and dropping
Albeit difficult, imma make the mark like Christopher Columbus
Leaving those footprints on the sands of time, now that’s a paragon of a tattoo
