The finest of skylines and monuments
forged by ancestors, have nothing on this rhyme;
Instead your light shall illuminate our very contents
Than this broken marble that will not tarry through time.
Even when disasters happen & overturn,
And render insignificant the youths’ masonry,
No tide, no star too bright shall burn
Or outshine the life of our memory.
And upon tragedies from ignorant enmity
You’ll still be adorned; your soul shall find room
So do not fear the hearts of our collective posterity
That cause undoings & inherent doom.
Take your time, your moment shall arise,
But now & thus, you’ll reign forever in our eyes.
